Custom, handmade to order, this Ancient Kauri wooden band features a crushed stone inlay center of Turquoise, framed by twin 14K Gold wire inlays. From NZ (New Zealand), Ancient Kauri is the oldest workable wood in the world. These giant trees from the prehistoric age were buried and (without access to air) preserved in peat swamps. We source our Kauri as otherwise unusable offcuts from lumber companies with permission from the NZ government conservation project to resell.
